Your Tempting Love
By: Layla Hagen
Goodreads Summary: Christopher Bennett is a persuasive man. With his magnetic charm and undeniable wit, he plays a key role in the international success of his family’s company. Christopher adores his family, even if they can be too meddling sometimes. Like when they recommend him to employ Victoria Hensley‘s decorating services for his new apartment in an attempt to set him up with her. Christopher isn’t looking to settle down, but meeting Victoria turns his world upside down. Her laughter is contagious, and her beautiful lips and curves are too tempting.Victoria Hensley is determined not to fall under Christopher’s spell, even though the man is hotter than sin, and his flirty banter makes her toes curl. But Christopher is her client, and she knows better than to get involved with clients. Besides, Victoria isn’t looking for love. After her parents‘ death, Victoria is raising her much younger siblings, and she can’t afford any mistakes. She and Christopher‘s chemistry is not just the sparks-flying kind, but the downright explosive kind. Before she knows it, Christopher is training her brother Lucas for soccer tryouts, and reading good-night stories to her sister Chloe. Victoria wants to resist him, but Christopher is determined, stubborn and oh-so-persuasive. When their attraction and connection both spiral out of control, will they be able to risk it all for a love that is far too tempting.
What I though: I laughed out aloud so many times during this book. You could tell that Christopher was younger then his brothers. He was more care free then his older siblings. The family business was doing well as Christopher was growing up so he didn’t worry as much as Sebastian, Logan and Pippa. Christopher loves to joke around and lighten the mood. Christopher meets Victoria when he hires her to decorate his new home. He just moved back to the states. Victoria needs this job and all the money she can get. She is taking care of her 3 younger siblings after her mother dies. They have so much chemistry with each other. Victoria doesn’t have time to think about men or dating and Christopher likes to keep it simple with the women he sees. He has had his heartbroken before and doesn’t want to go back to that. But the chemistry between them cant be missed. There is something about him that got her to really open up to him. It was so funny every time they would get together. Poor Victoria just has one problem after another. After her mother died suddenly she has to take care of 3 kids then she lost her job and on top of all that child protective services will not let up. The agent on her case wants to take the kids away from her. The kids are her world and she isn’t going to let anyone take them away. Christopher really likes her and when he finds out that she is taking care of the kids he makes sure to work around her family time with them. When he comes over to do some work, he meets them. They start to hang out more and when he and Victoria talk about dating they want to make sure its ok with them first. I really like his relationship with the kids the most. I love when they sent her out and question him on his intentions. The kids know how much she has given up to take care of them and they want her to have something for herself. Christopher doesn’t take what they have given her lightly. They become a family. Its different then Pippa’s because they aren’t her children. Yes, she takes care of them but they know she is just their older sister. But I still love watching him fall in love with the kids just as much has he loves Victoria. Christopher gives them something they didn’t have even when their mother was still there, a man. He can also give them a big family. I wish we got a little more with his family in this book. I know this is going to be a little crazy but I wish it wasn’t so easy for them. I want the next one to have a little more depth. I like it when the relationship isn’t so easy. I would like to see something that isn’t so girl meets guy, guy meets girl. Guy doesn’t date, girl doesn’t have time. They overcome it in the end and live happy. I want to be at the end and be like yes they over came a lot. I like the ending but I just wish there was more. I wish Victoria spoke up more about what she was feeling. I cant wait for the next Bennett to fall in love. I hope everyone goes out and reads and falls in love with the family everyone wants the Bennett`s!! I was sent a copy of this book to review from the author. All the opinions and feelings are my own. I gave this book a 4 out 5 on Goodreads.
